The Supervisory Board of the Starman Group today announces that Gert Tiivas has decided to leave his position as Chairman of the Management Board of Starman, for personal reasons. Aivo Adamson will continue in his role as Group CEO and be responsible for Starman Group’s businesses in the Baltics.

“On behalf of the Supervisory Board I wish to express our gratitude for all the valuable work that Gert has contributed to the Company with over the past years,” said Kestutis Sasnauskas, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Starman Group.

Starman Group consists of AS Starman in Estonia and UAB Cgates in Lithuania. In 2014, the sales revenue of Starman and Cgates reached 50 million euros and EBITDA was 23 million euros. Together, the companies’ fiber-optic network reaches a total of 700,000 homes in the Baltics and employs around 550 people.

AS Starman is the leading telecommunications company in Estonia that provides home-entertainment services for every third household in Estonia. The company offers television, Internet and telephone services based on fiber-optic network and broadcasts terrestrial digital TV with ZUUMtv that covers 97% of Estonia. Starman started its operations in 1992 and currently employs 330 people.
